The band were great and everyone had a blast.
Goldstar was fantastic and all our guests absolutely loved their music! They were great at communicating with the event staff and wedding party on timings and announcements, and really helped the day run smoothly. Most importantly, they had everyone up dancing through the evening and sounded fantastic.
To Goldstar. what a wonderful time everyone had at my 50th birthday party at the weekend. Goldstar were absolutely and utterly fabulous! The dance floor was completely full the whole night and every one of my guests has been raving about the band since the event! Goldstar read the room perfectly and played a brilliant selection of songs to suit all ages and the floor was full all night, from toddlers to people in their 80’s! All of the band were extremely professional, and exceptionally talented. Communication with Andy from the band prior to the event was efficient and reassuring, and he took the time to hear exactly what I was looking for regarding timings, songs and atmosphere. I would absolutely recommend them without hesitation to anyone who wants to hire the very best weddding/function band for their event. Thank you! Marisa Forte
Andy from the band got in touch a couple weeks before our wedding so I was able to discuss some details beforehand; he was very assuring and came across as very organised and experienced. On the day the band were fantastic; their setlist kept most of our guests on the dancefloor the whole evening and we received lots of comments from them about how good Goldstar were. Scott was very approachable and asked us if we wanted any particular songs played. We hope they enjoyed the evening as much as we and our guests did!
Goldstar were amazing and helped make our night truly memorable. We have had so many comments on how good the band were. We would definitely recommend them anyone looking for a wedding/event band. Goldstar were excellent! The female singer in particular was amazing, but they were all very good. They did a great job of keeping the dancefloor busy all night and played all of the songs we requested. They were also happy to accommodate other suggestions on the night e.g. our guests deciding to do a congo round the whole marquee to 500 miles! They called the ceilidh numbers well and chose good points to include them during their set. Our guests were really impressed with the band – as were we! Thank you.

Goldstar were an absolute dream. We have never been at a wedding where so many people were on the dance floor for so long – and all of the guests kept telling us the same – people were trying to go to the bar but kept having to turn back to dance to the music!
