DG Music is delighted to return with another Alehouse Rocks in collaboration with The Grainstore Brewery.
We pride ourselves on being the choice supplier for local music and we are delighted to be working again with The Grainstore Brewery to bring you this mini festival of the best live music.
Our now annual ‘Alehouse Music‘ has been running for a number of years now. Always aiming to provide a variety of bands and musicians for everyone’s taste.
This year we are extremely excited to present The Houndogs and The Aesthetic, as our headline acts on the Friday and Saturday.
Entry is of course free and The Grainstore are proud to offer their entire range of award winning real ales and ciders on draught, with great food all weekend.

Friday 28th July
Monroe Trio
We kick of with Monroe Acoustic, the first of many great acts lining up for the weekend.
Monroe is an outstanding acoustic duo featuring soulful female vocals from Polly yates and intricate, refined acoustic guitar accompaniment.
Their repertoire includes a huge range of pop, rock, blues, soul and jazz songs spanning the last 6 decades.
The Houndogs
The ever fantastic Houndogs round off the first night of ‘Alehouse Rocks’ at The Grainstore. This one is sure to be a wild and energetic round up of Friday evening.
The wild energy of their shows has to be seen to be believed and includes members of the band jumping off the drum kit, standing on the double bass and even setting fire to the cymbals!
The guys always give 110% to their performances and have the crowd begging for more.
Saturday 29th July
Dan & Izzy
Dan & Izzy return to The Grainstore for ‘Alehouse Rocks’. A beautiful way to enjoy a sunny Saturday afternoon. The first if three excellent acts performing thorughout the day.
Both Dan & Izzy bring a youthful vigour to all of their performances. Their enthusiasm and love of singing songs is infectious and people can’t help but enjoy the music.
Acoustic Vibes
Showcasing professional and talented musicianship and vocal ability Acoustic Vibes play interesting and unusual versions of hits from the 1960’s to present day with an emphasis on 90’s and noughties indie guaranteed to entertain at your special event.
The Aesthetic
What a way to round off a fantastic day of real music and real ale! We’re very excited to have The Aesthetic keeping the party going throughout the night.
The Aesthetic are fronted by the charismatic lead singer and guitarist Calder who has one of the most distinctive male lead vocal voices in a UK covers band.
His gritty style and passionate delivery have made him and his acts first choice for bookings all over the country.
Sunday 30th July
Govannen
Our final day of Alehouse Rocks at The Grainstore. Make sure to head down to enjoy some foot-stomping Celtic shenanigans with Govannen. Always a special treat this one!
They love playing here at The Grainstore and always plays with passion, artistry and an easy going good humour, each in good measure for a night to remember.
The Roamantics
Alehouse Rocks at The Grainstore concludes with our final act of the weekend, The Roamantics. The perfect way to round off an excellent weekend of live entertainment.
Summer of Music
We can’t wait to see you all and join you in the summer festivities. It feels so good to be putting on great live music shows again.

There is also an additional bonus this weekend, with the World Amateur Pork Pie Championship taking place on Saturday 29th July.
