Calder’s repertoire covers many genres and styles, from rock, to indie and pop. Including artists such as Stereophonics, Rod Stewart, The Eagles and Adele, this eclectic mix is sure to be hit with guests of all ages.
Vocalist
As an exceptional vocalist, Calder brings his own unique style to each performance. He has one of the most distinctive male vocal voices to be found anywhere in the UK. His gritty, passionate sound have made him a first choice for a variety of clients all over the country and he guarantees musicianship of the highest calibre with dynamic and entertaining performances every time.
Leicestershire
Based in Leicestershire, Calder is known throughout the area for his music. Having performed at the Summer Sundae Festival and others, he has supported artists such as Chris Helme (Seahorses), John Power (Cast), Charlie Coombes (Supergrass) and Miles Hunt (The Wonder Stuff).
Band Options
Calder can also expand his acoustic perform into a 3 piece band adding bass guitar and drums. This is the perfect option for those that want the acoustic rather than electric sound, but would like the music for dancing rather than background. They play 2 x 50 minute sets of lively acoustic pop music.
If you do want an electric option for the evening, Calder also performs with 3-4 piece covers band The Aesthetic – a pop & rock band who perform regularly at weddings and corporate events. They incorporate all the best guitar based pop by bands like The Kings of Leon and The Killers, with a good dose of funk and soul by the likes of Wild Cherry and Michael Jackson. As the lead singer, Calder is a natural front man who knows how to get his audience on the dance-floor!
