Packages typically include ceremony and drinks reception options or music during the wedding breakfast. On average, you should expect to pay around £350-600 for a harpist for your wedding day.

How long does it take for a harpist to set up?

One thing to remember is that harps are typically large and bulky instruments, so if your event is not on the ground floor and the harp needs to be taken upstairs, they may need assistance from the venue staff or any willing guests!

Are harpists happy to accept song requests?

Our wedding harpists are more than happy to accept song requests, provided they can source the sheet music. If the harpist does not have your song in their repertoire, they will have to purchase the music chart online for a small fee of around £10-15, which would be added to your booking fee.

How much space does a professional harpist need?

A harpist needs approximately 1.5 metres x 1.5 metres in order to set up the harp, music stand, chair, or stool. It’s always best to provide your harpist with a comfortable performance space so they can focus on delivering the best performance possible.

Do harpists bring their own equipment?

Our skilled harpists come fully equipped with their own instruments, complete with a harp and a speaker if necessary. Depending on your choice, they may perform on a pedal harp, the classic large concert harp commonly seen at events, or a lever harp. The pedal harp, often a concert grand, offers an impressive, refined appearance and a robust sound, making it ideal for formal occasions. Lever harps, like those used by Frankie and Trudie, are more compact and suit more relaxed environments, such as beach weddings.
