The short answer is yes! What started as a niche genre of music has now flourished into the mainstream, so your guests will be as ready to get on the dance floor as you are.

Our indie wedding bands know that to have a good time, you’ve got to have a good mix of old and new, so you’ll find that many bands include a varied selection of golden oldies in the setlist.

How much does it cost to hire an Indie wedding band?

Most Indie/rock wedding bands come as a 3 or 4-piece, which makes them an affordable option. You should expect to spend anywhere between £900-1400 for a wedding or party, depending on the date and time of year.

Will the band bring everything they need to perform?

As standard, an indie cover band will bring all their own equipment, including PA system and lighting. Your venue will need to be able to accommodate the band setup, so it’s always a good idea to check before booking that they can accommodate the band you’re keen to book.

Can I choose what songs they play?

We understand that the songs you hear on your big day are super important. That’s why our function bands are always happy to tailor their sets to suit your requirements. If you’ve got a penchant for classic rock, or perhaps you’re more of an indie-pop type of person, then just let us know, and we’ll find you the perfect match.

How long will it take the band to set up?

As a guideline, it’s best to allocate 60-90 minutes for the band’s setup. It’s worth noting that the band will need to do a short soundcheck during this time, which may disrupt whatever’s happening nearby. Check with your wedding coordinator in advance to ensure the band is set up at the most appropriate time.

Do Indie Rock bands offer a DJ service?

We understand that not only do you need a quality live band, but you’ll also need to keep the party rocking during the breaks. As standard, all our indie bands offer playlists during their breaks, similar to what they would play during their live sets. However, for an extra fee, some bands offer a more interactive DJ option, which allows guests to make requests and for the band to change the music depending on the vibe/atmosphere of the party.
