Why hire a vocal group?
Booking a vocal group is a fantastic way to add excitement to any event, from epic gospel choirs to accompany your wedding ceremony to cheeky singing waiters during the wedding breakfast.
We offer a variety of choirs and A Capella groups, each bringing a combination of soulful vocals and rich harmonies to heighten the atmosphere at your event.
Our vocal groups come in all shapes and sizes and are ever popular for events where a traditional wedding band doesn’t quite suit the occasion. With a simple technical setup and the ability to perform without amplification, they’re the perfect choice for events with sound restrictions or with limited performance space.
How many singers do I need to book?
The number of singers required largely depends on the type of event and number of attendees. If, for example, you want to book Singing Waiters to perform at a wedding, an ensemble of one to three singers will be sufficient. However, larger vocal groups such as church choirs often work best with multiple singers of five or more.
The size of the performance space will also dictate the number of singers required. A smaller, more intimate venue will better suit two or three singers, whereas a large hall or theatre may require multiple vocalists to fill the space.
What songs do vocal groups and choirs sing?
It depends on what type of vocal group you want to book, but as a general rule, most professional singers perform a wide range of classic and well-known songs from genres such as gospel, soul, RnB, jazz, religious music or hymns, and modern pop.
Rest assured, our vocal groups are just as comfortable with contemporary songs as they are with religious music and hymns.
If booking a wedding choir, you’ll be welcome to select your preferred ceremony music and any favourites from the group’s repertoire. Depending on your venue, religious songs sung by a vocal choir during the ceremony can be fitting.

How much do vocal groups cost?
The average price of a solo singer is £300-500, although venue location and availability can affect the quote. Professional choirs range anywhere between £1000-2000, depending on the number of singers booked. Traditional choirs often charge a flat rate per singer and can usually advise on how many singers would best suit the event.
